Tax rates can be added by motel admins. To do this, click on 'Tax Rates' under the motel's menu.

There are some pre-set category names available in the drop down menu, or you can enter your own custom tax rate name. Enter in the tax percentage rate and specify if you want the tax to only be included on purchases over a certain amount.

Motel admins can also update, disable, or remove tax rates that have been entered. Click the red x to remove a tax rate.

Once tax rates have been entered, they can be applied to rooms by associating the tax rate to a room type. To do this, click on 'Room Types & Rates' from the motel's menu. Next, select a type and click on the pencil to edit it.

Next, select a room type and click the pencil on the right to edit it.

On the edit room type page, select the Tax Rate drop-down menu in the 'Type & Rates' section. Select the desired tax rate and click Save. This tax rate will now be applied to purchases made with rooms associated to this room type.
